| The following is a selection of issues NATCA has with CRU-X: | |
|   |
Issue: Demonstrations of CruOps have exhibited serious and unworkable deficiencies. See Report from ZNY Training Change Request: CruOps needs to be returned to the development team for rework. The development team needs to be separated from the testing team so that the Alpha will not emerge again with so many problems. It is industry standard to have completely separate testing teams because the development team is too immersed in their own issues to appreciate how the product will be used. |

Issue: The TOS Code list is intimidating, confusing and not germane to all Offices or Facilities. Example: "7-Time is Suffered & Permitted" is not a TOS code that ZKC Air Traffic employees have used or understand the meaning of. Change Request: ZKC requests that the TOS Codes be configurable at the facilities by the Admin account on the Office level. The facilities should be able to delete a code that is not applicable and be able to rename a code so as to change its sort order. |
|   | Issue: Article 18 Section 7. "When CIC duties are to be performed, assignments shall be made on an equitable basis." At ZKC we have adapted an Access database for use at the Supervisors Desk. This database performs two duties: Generates a ?10 for the desk and tracks the number of minutes of CIC time per controller. CruOPS currently generates the ?10 but does not track the minutes of CIC time per controller to aid in compliance with Article 18 Section 7. Change Request: Create a report in CruOPS tracking the total minutes accrued CIC time for a set time period. The set period shall be definable at the local level so as to comply with existing local MOU's, bid year etc. The report shall be sorted from the least to the most CIC minutes accrued. When a new CIC is added to the list the average CIC minutes for all controllers in the area shall be calculated for the current period and assigned to the new CIC. This report shall be accessible to: CIC's; Supervisors; NATCA Reps and editable by AO users. |
|   | Issue: Lack of flexibility in the Shift History Tab Counts. Shift History Tab Morning Count(<10:30 am): Evening Count (<10:00 pm): Mid Count (>=10:00 pm): use predetermined fixed times. Change Request: Allow for local adaptation by the ADMIN account for the count times to meet local needs. |
|   | Issue: Article 24 Section 6 of the CBA states: "Leave requests shall be approved in the order that they were requested." CruOPS does not record the time leave requests are entered. Change Request: Record the time leave requests are entered and require approval of leave in the order requested. |

Issue: The "On Duty" list does not reflect the person who is do back next to the area next. Change Request: ZKC requests that the "On Duty Board" be sorted by the time the employee was last removed from the "On Position List", "Other Duties List" or the "Operations Supervisor / Controller In Charge" Lists. Example: An employee who is on one of the above positions would have a value of 0 and would be sorted to the top of the list. An employee who's last position was "On Position List" 15 minutes in the past would be sorted with a value of 15. ZKC further requests that this functionality be selectable per area from the ADMIN account. Activation of this feature shall be determined through I & I. |

Issue: When placing a controller in the "On Position List", "Other Duties List" or the "Operations Supervisor / Controller In Charge" the "Sign On Time - UTC" verification window time format is confusing in that it's does not reflect the time format of the destination window. Change Request: ZKC requests the "Sign On Time - UTC" verification window reflect the time format of the destination window. |
